TIMMY AQUILINA OFFICIALLY JOINS SWIEQI UNITED

Swieqi United FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Timmy Aquilina, as the 27-year-old embarks on a new chapter in his career following the conclusion of his spell with Valletta FC.

Aquilina brings with him a strong reputation and a wealth of experience, having enjoyed a highly successful period with the capital club. During his time at Valletta, the goalkeeper made 32 appearances, kept an impressive 23 clean sheets, conceded just 12 goals, and lifted two trophies, establishing himself as a key figure between the posts.

Describing his departure from Valletta as one of the most difficult decisions of his career, Aquilina expressed heartfelt gratitude to his teammates, coaches, staff, volunteers and committee members, praising the unity and professionalism that defined his time at the club. He also paid tribute to Valletta’s supporters, acknowledging their unwavering backing through both challenging moments and successes.
