Qormi Daikin Extend Strong Form With Win Over Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks

Qormi Daikin continued their impressive run in the National Hockey Championship with a 6–4 victory over GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks. Luke Bajada was the standout performer, netting a hat‑trick, while teammates Juan Sarcia, Kyle Micallef and Steve Tanti added a goal each. Żurrieq’s Christ Agius delivered a remarkable individual display, scoring all four of his team’s goals. Karl Chircop and James Mizzi officiated the match.
In another senior fixture, Floriana Young Stars overpowered White Hart 9–1. Deemer Rapinett led the Greens with four goals, supported by Clive Williams’ brace and strikes from Anton Saliba, Justin Farrugia and Lauretano Toninendel. David Agius scored White Hart’s lone goal. The umpires were Alessandro Amore and Silvio Peralta.
Youth hockey also delivered excitement as Marsaskala Heat were crowned Under‑16 champions following a 4–2 win over Qormi Daikin. Nathan Rodo scored twice, with Liam Carabott and Damien Lupu sealing the victory. Zak Farrugia netted both goals for Qormi.
In the Under‑12 division, GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks defeated Floriana Young Stars 7–4, with Adam White scoring four and Jacob White adding a hat‑trick. Giuseppe Schembri scored all four goals for Floriana.
