MHA Knock-Out Finals Showcase High-Level Competition at Tal‑Qroqq

The Malta Handball Association Knock-Out Finals delivered a thrilling weekend of action at the University Sports Hall in Tal‑Qroqq, where youth and senior teams competed across six decisive finals. With strong crowds and high stakes, the event highlighted the depth and competitiveness of Maltese handball.
Swieqi Phoenix enjoyed a dominant showing across multiple categories, beginning with an 18–13 victory over La Salle in the U15 Boys final, followed by a 26–21 win against Kavallieri in the U15 Girls decider. Their momentum continued in the U17 Girls final, where they secured a commanding 23–10 triumph, again over Kavallieri.
Kavallieri responded strongly in the U19 Men’s final, defeating Shooting Stars 28–17 with superior tactical organisation and fast transitions.
In the Women’s final, Swieqi RGF Malta Phoenix produced one of the weekend’s most convincing displays, overpowering Kavallieri 39–22.
The Men’s final delivered the biggest turnaround of the event. After trailing 15–10 at half-time, Kavallieri surged back with an emphatic second‑half run to defeat Swieqi Gasan Mamo Phoenix 32–25.
