Luxol claim 10th Futsal Malta title after double win over University of Malta

Luxol St Andrews Futsal Club have been crowned Futsal Malta champions for the 10th time, extending their remarkable run with an eighth consecutive title after defeating University of Malta Futsal in both legs of the final. Luxol took full control of the series with a 5–1 away victory in the opening match, before sealing the championship in emphatic fashion with a 7–1 win at home in yesterday’s Game 2 making a third match unnecessary.

Under the guidance of coach Gabriel Dobre, Luxol showcased their trademark intensity, precision and depth, overcoming worthy rivals who pushed them throughout the season. The final whistle confirmed yet another chapter in Luxol’s dominant era, celebrated passionately by players, staff and supporters.

With the domestic title secured, Luxol now shift their focus to representing Malta in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, aiming to carry their winning momentum onto the European stage.
