La Salle Athletics Club Athletes Shine at Corsa Marathon Events

La Salle Athletics Club celebrated an excellent showing last Sunday as its athletes delivered strong performances across the Corsa Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km events. The club’s runners showcased determination, consistency and competitive spirit throughout the day.

In the Full Marathon, Stephanie Mamo produced a solid run, finishing in 3:48:12. The Half Marathon brought standout results, with Loren Mercieca claiming 1st place in the Over‑45 category in 1:46:56, while Kevin Russell secured 1st place in the Over‑75 category with a time of 2:21:29. Anthony Demanuele clocked an impressive 1:29:05, and John Giacchino completed the distance in 2:39:22.

In the 10km, Alan Bugeja registered a strong 43:29. The 5km saw excellent efforts from Kurt John Grech (17:45), Lindsay Magro Garrett (22:54), Stephen Gauci (31:23), Jacki Portelli (33:39) and Claire Incorvaja (33:53).

It was a proud day for La Salle Athletics Club, with athletes representing the club with commitment and passion.
