Graham Pellegrini Sets Season-Fastest Maltese Time On 100m Distance In Challenge Meeting

Pembroke Athleta sprinter Graham Pellegrini produced a standout performance at the fifth Athletics Malta Challenge Meeting of the season after clocking 10.69s in the 100m sprint, establishing the fastest Maltese time over the distance this year.
Pellegrini later completed a sprint double by also winning the 200m in 21.77s, narrowly ahead of Savio College’s Jordan Pace, who finished just two hundredths of a second behind in a closely contested race.
Attention now shifts to one of the major events on the Athletics Malta calendar, with the Youth National Athletics Championships set to take place next weekend at the Marsa Stadium.
