Dillon Cassar Shines with Podium Finish at Corsa Malta Half Marathon

Dillon Cassar continued his impressive form with a standout performance at the Corsa Malta Half Marathon, securing third place overall in a competitive field. Cassar completed the course in a controlled and confident 68:17, also finishing as the first Maltese athlete on the day.

The race formed part of his ongoing training programme, and Cassar highlighted the value of incorporating the event into his preparations. He described the course as slightly hilly but smooth and enjoyable, offering a scenic route along Malta’s coastline. Despite using the race as a training effort, he delivered a composed run that underlined his consistency and growing strength.

Cassar expressed gratitude to his family and friends for their constant support, with special thanks reserved for his coach his father whose guidance continues to shape his progress.
