Daniel Portela da Silva Named VBET Coach of the Month for February

Floriana FC head coach Daniel Portela da Silva has been awarded the VBET Coach of the Month for February 2026, recognising his leadership during a period in which the Greens strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League table. February proved to be a defining month for Floriana, who displayed impressive consistency across six competitive fixtures.

Under Portela da Silva’s guidance, Floriana secured important victories over Tarxien Rainbows, Hibernians, and Gżira United, while also earning valuable draws against Marsaxlokk, Valletta, and Ħamrun Spartans. These results ensured the Greens maintained momentum in their title push and highlighted the tactical discipline and resilience instilled by their coach.

The award was presented to Portela da Silva by Adam Calleja, Business Development Director at SoftConstruct Malta, during a brief ceremony acknowledging the coach’s contribution to Floriana’s strong campaign.
