Prime Minister Surprises 15 Year Old Keziah Living With Fibromyalgia

Prime Minister Robert Abela surprised 15 year old Keziah, a Maltese youth living with the rare condition of fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia is a long term medical condition that causes widespread body pain, severe fatigue and sleep problems. The Prime Minister met with Keziah for a tea to talk about her life as well as her passion for politics.

Keziah had already met with the Prime Minister during the last election campaign, with the two joking that her passion for politics likely comes from her grandfather.

Abela did not leave without snapping a photo with Keziah and her loved ones. ‘With more knowledge, research and help, we can continue to be of support for those who carry the weight of conditions that do not always show on the surface’, said Abela.
