President Myriam Spiteri Debono Visits Seminarju in Rabat

Her Excellence Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, recently visited is-Seminarju Minuri tal-Arċisqof, a school in Rabat.

This visit was part of the BOV L-Istrina Piggy Bank campaign where the president was accompanied by Archbishop Monsinjur Charles J. Scicluna and Clifton Grima, Education Minister.

The president encouraged students to donate and be part of L-Istrina however they can. She explained how throughout the year, she met with students in need who are the kinds of people who benefit from the Malta Community Chest Fund.

“In our students we’re instilling not only faith and knowledge,” stated Clinton Grima, “but also everything that makes them exemplary citizens of our country.”

He reminded students that their noble gestures of today are the basis of their future.

The president also took the time to answer students’ questions, and reminded them to appreciate their teachers and educators.
