Civil Protection Rescue Woman In Nadur After She Breaks Her Leg

Civil Protection Malta conducted a rescue this past weekend after a woman sustained a broken leg while walking and required immediate medical assistance.
Rescue teams from Fire Stations 6 and 7 responded to the incident, and due to the difficult terrain in which the accident took place, the casualty was carefully immobilised before being transported via CPD RHIB Delta 1.
‘She was then transferred to Mġarr Harbour, where she was handed over to a medical team from Gozo General Hospital for further treatment.’
CPD extended its gratitude to the Malta Police Force and the Emergency Department of Gozo General Hospital for their assistance.
