52 Cases Of Sexual Assault On Women Reported In 2025

According to information tabled in parliament, there were 52 cases of sexual assault on women reported in 2025.
It was also revealed that between July 2022, when femicide law was installed, and December 2025, there were three cases of femicide.
In one instance, the perpetrator was not arraigned in court due to the passing of the accused. In both other instances, the accused were both arraigned in local courts.
Minister Byron Camilleri, responding to the questions posed by PN MP Graziella Attard Previ, also revealed that from 2018 onwards, all homicide cases in Malta were solved.
