49 E-Kick Scooters Operating Illegally Confiscated In Past Month

Minister for Sustainable Transport Chris Bonett issued a statement revealing that, in the past month, Transport Malta officials confiscated 49 e-kick scooters which were being driven illegally.
This is a mode of transport that, when used responsibly, can serve as a sustainable alternative, explained Bonett.
‘However, there are responsibilities attached to their use along with clear legal obligations. Among these are that drivers need to be over 16 years old, the e-kick scooter needs to be registered with Transport Malta and have a valid registration.’
